What is collected

Only what you type into the application form: name, email, age, country, time zone, Discord username if you give one, the role, your experience, portfolio link, tools, Unity experience, availability and your answers to the open questions.

The server also records the IP address the application came from. It is used only to stop spam and repeated automated submissions.

This site has no analytics, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Fonts are hosted on this server, so visiting the site doesn't send your IP address to Google or anyone else.

Why it is used

To review your application, contact you about it, and if we work together, to organise that work. Nothing else. Your data is never sold or shared for marketing.

The legal basis is your consent, which you give with the checkbox on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by email.

Where it is stored and who sees it

Applications are stored in a database on the server that runs this site. A copy of each application is sent by email to the studio inbox, which is hosted by Google (Gmail).

Only the Kingdom Wars team reads applications.

How long it is kept

Up to 12 months after the last contact about your application. If you join the team, your contact details are kept for as long as we work together. You can ask for deletion earlier at any time.

Your rights

You can ask to see the data held about you, correct it, get a copy, or have it deleted. Send an email to [email protected] from the address you applied with, and it will be handled within 30 days.

If you think your data was handled wrongly, you can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Cookies

Visitors get no cookies. The only cookie on this site keeps the site administrator logged in to the admin page.
